Photographs

The photographs on the site, including the sharing image (guided tour at the top of the Tour de l’Hermite, in Coucy-le-Château), are by Thibault Santonja.

External iconographic sources

Third-party iconography comes from public domain collections or collections under open licences (Gallica BnF, Europeana, Wikimedia Commons). Each source is traced individually, with its attribution, in the frontmatter of the article concerned.

Open source tools and libraries

The project relies on many open source libraries. The main ones:

• Astro: SSG meta-framework.
• Vite: underlying build engine.
• TypeScript
• Tailwind CSS
• MindAR.js, A-Frame, Three.js: augmented reality layer.
• (coming) Lottie: 2D vector animations.

Hosting

The site is self-hosted by the AMVCC on its own server, with free software, on infrastructure shared with La Seigneurie de Coucy. No United States infrastructure is contacted by your browser when you view this page; the only exception is the display of a video hosted by a third-party platform, at your request (see the legal notice).

The source code is published under the MIT licence (author: Thibault Santonja). Editorial content and original illustrations are published under the Creative Commons BY-SA 4.0 licence, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
